BOOKING/ RESERVATIONS: All guests must create a client/pet profile on Paw Partner by clicking the “Register Your Pet” link on our website. Please answer the required questions, sign required waivers, and upload your dogs’ most current vaccine records. This must be completed prior to booking. A valid credit card must be kept on file in your Paw Partner account. *By saving a credit card on file, you give Boops Co. Boarding and Daycare permission to charge for any applicable fees in accordance with this policy, including but not limited to deposits if a waitlisted reservation is confirmed, cancellation fees, out of hours fees, fees associated with an extension of stay, etc. Boarding reservations require a non refundable deposit.
Before booking, ensure that you have uploaded your pet’s most current vaccine records, and that the required vaccines are up to date. Reservations made without the required vaccine records will be waitlisted and will not be confirmed until the records are received.
All reservations require an emergency contact. When choosing an emergency contact, please list someone local who is able and willing to pick your dog up in case of an emergency should we not be able to reach you. Please do not list someone who is going out of town with you. Please do not list yourself.
*No reservations will be confirmed which list the owner as the emergency contact. Emergency contact must be someone willing and able to pick up if necessary. If you or your emergency contact is unable to be reached or pick up if necessary, (within 60 minutes) a $200 fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
Waitlisted reservations are confirmed by email up until the end of the business day prior to the day of the reservation.
AGE: All dogs attending daycare or boarding at Boops must be at least 4 months of age or older.
*Puppy Boarding is +$3 per night. (Under 8 months)
SPAY/NEUTER: All dogs 7 months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
*Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis at staff’s discretion, or with a veterinary recommendation. In those cases, a waiver must be signed.
*Females actively in heat are not permitted until 15 days past the last day of their cycle.
*A 14 day waiting period is required to attend daycare or board with us after your dog is spayed/neutered.
VACCINATIONS: All animals must have up-to-date vaccinations. Contact your veterinarian to obtain your pet’s most current records and upload them to their pet profile. Additional information regarding vaccines can be found here.

*A 7 day waiting period is required to attend daycare or board with us after your dog receives the Bordetella vaccine for the first time. If your dog has previously received the vaccine and is due for a booster/renewal, no waiting period will be required so long as the vaccine is administered within 10 days after the expiration date.
*Vaccines must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.
*Self administered vaccines are not permitted.
*VACCINATIONS ARE NOT A GUARANTEE AGAINST CONTRACTING AN ILLNESS, BUT CAN GREATLY REDUCE THE RISK AND SEVERITY.
HEALTH/SAFETY: All dogs must be flea/tick free, present good hygiene (no foul odors such as urine, etc.), and be in good overall health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other pets. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
*All dogs must be leashed when entering/exiting Boops.
*Please do not walk your dog in to the building at the same time as another customer/dog. Some dogs can be leash reactive which can cause issues especially between a new dog and a dog who may feel as if Boops is their territory.
*Please do not allow your dog to approach another dog while in our lobby.
*Please do not interact with dogs that are in daycare playrooms.
*Dogs showing any signs of aggression towards another dog will not be permitted to participate in group play, whether here for daycare or boarding.
*Dogs who show any signs of aggression towards humans will not be permitted to attend daycare or board with us.
TRAINING: Payment for training courses will be made at time of enrollment and is non refundable & non transferable. If a customer needs to switch to a course which starts at a later date (ex: you enroll in a January class but need to switch to a March class), notice will be given no less than 7 days prior to the first class of the course originally enrolled in. If such notice is not given, no change will be made. If the course you wish to switch to is fully booked, no changes will be made.
Dogs must meet the required standards to be enrolled in our intermediate course (See below).
If a customer and/or Trainer feels a dog is not enrolled in the appropriate course and a switch from basic/intermediate is necessary, the switch will be made to the appropriate course that is currently being held (not a future course) and is ultimately at the discretion of the Trainer. This decision will be made on the first day of class.
Due to limited space, we ask that only one adult member of your family attends training. Although it is not recommended, if you must bring a child, they must be age appropriate, actively participating/involved in the training, and not become a disruption to the class. All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Customers will enter the building no more than 10 minutes prior to the start time of their selected course. No training customer will enter the building with their dog before 6PM for any reason.
If a class is still being held, customers waiting for their class to start will wait in the designated area and not engage with/disrupt the current class.
Customers will not, nor will allow their dog/s to engage with other dogs while in the building unless directed to do so by the Trainer.
Customers will clean and properly dispose of any pet waste.
Customers will not use physical force toward any dog as a form of punishment or training while in our facility.
Customers are fully responsible for the actions of their dog/s at all times while in our facility.
Customers/dogs are only permitted to be in designated waiting and training areas. Customers will not enter the boarding area, staff area or any other part of the building not designated for training.
Customers will acknowledge that due to many factors outside of our control, Boops Co. provides no guarantees of training results.
Customers will follow all Boops Co. Policies and any policies a Trainer has in place. Failure to follow said policies will result in dismissal from the course.
Boops Co. and Trainer reserves the right to decline entry to, or dismiss from training, any dog who presents behavioral issues that may be deemed overly dangerous or disruptive.
A no show on the first class date will result in dismissal from the course.
No make ups for missed classes unless a class is cancelled by Boops Co. or Trainer. In this case, a makeup date will be provided.
Dog Dress Code: Flat collar, martingale collar, or Halti (no prong, choke, or eCollars ), 6 foot leash (no retractable leashes).
Human Dress Code: Close toed shoes/sneakers with a back.
Prerequisites for intermediate course: It is preferred that the dog has successfully completed Basic Obedience or individual sessions with ACD. Clear understanding of basic commands and a release word. Heel on leash with no pulling or lagging. Come when called on command. Sit, Down, and Stand on command and stay in position until released.
PICKUP/DROP OFF: Please arrive as close to your chosen pick up/drop off time as possible (within 15 minutes).
**For same day reservations, please call ahead!**
Daycare- There will be an additional charge of $15 per dog for any drop offs/pickups outside of our scheduled daycare drop off/pickup hours for full day daycare.
*If a full day of daycare is booked and you arrive early, your reservation will not be changed to a half day.*
*If a half day of daycare is booked and you exceed 5 hours your reservation will be modified to a full day, and any applicable drop off/pick up fees will apply.
*If you arrive prior to your scheduled reservation time, your 5 hours begins at the time of drop off.
*If you arrive after your scheduled drop off time, your 5 hours begins at the drop off originally scheduled.
Boarding- There will be an additional charge of $15 per dog for any drop offs outside of our scheduled boarding drop off hours Mon-Fri. *We encourage you to select a time within our morning drop off hours so that your dog can become acclimated to their new surroundings before going in their kennel for the night, which can be stressful for some dogs.
We only offer morning pickup for boarded dogs. This allows us enough time to clean and maintain our kennels in between pets’ stays. There will be an additional charge of $25 per dog for any pickups outside of our scheduled boarding pickup hours Mon-Fri.
*No late drop offs or pick ups on Sat/Sun*
*Should you arrive prior to your scheduled pick up date without giving adequate notice (see “cancellations”) , you will be charged for the remainder of the scheduled boarding stay.
*If you find yourself needing to add additional nights of boarding to your dogs’ stay, please give as much notice as possible. We will do our best to accommodate this.
Drop off- Customer must arrive within 15 minutes of scheduled appointment time. If a customer arrives more than 15 minutes late for appointment, it will be considered a no show/same day cancellation, and all applicable fees will apply (see cancellations).
Pick up- Customer will be contacted via phone, text, and/or email upon completion of grooming services. Once contacted, customer must pick up pet(s) within 60 minutes. A late pick up fee of $20 per pet will apply for any pick ups after 60 minutes.
*If you arrive within 15 minutes after closing (6p M-F, 10a Sa-Su), a $25 after hours fee will be charged to the credit card on file. If you have not arrived within 15 minutes after closing, your pet(s) will be placed in a kennel for the night at the owner’s expense, including meals. You will be contacted the following morning to arrange for pick up.

MEALS: Owner must provide dogs’ food.
Mealtimes for boarding dogs are 8am, 1pm, and 6pm. Please take this in to consideration on drop off/pick up days. For instance, if your drop off time is 9:30am, please feed your dog their morning meal before drop off, as they’ll have missed morning mealtime at Boops.
Please bring your dog’s meals pre portioned in sealed Ziplock bags, labeled with their name. This ensures the correct amount of food is given. Please do not bring large food containers or bags that are not resealable. *There will be a $2 fee per meal if food is not brought pre portioned.
Please note that it is not uncommon for dogs to skip meals/eat less than they typically would at home due to the excitement of their new surroundings and friends.
We may provide our guests with small treats such as milk bones throughout the day. Please let us know when you check in if you do not want your dog to have any treats.
*In cases where none or not enough food is provided by the owner based on the amount we are told to feed, or the food supplied by the owner is not considered appropriate for a dog (example- cat food), your dog will be switched to a generic, low ingredient kibble (to avoid causing possible digestive issues that can occur when switching a pet’s diet) for the remainder of their stay at $5 per meal.
MEDICATION: If necessary, we can administer medication to your dog, but require a medication form to be completed each time your dog stays with us. Boops Co. does not accept pets that require medical treatment beyond the dispensing of medication (i.e. drains, bandage changes, suture removal, etc.)
DAYCARE PACKAGES: Daycare packages are available for purchase. Packages (excluding our “Ulti-Mutt Membership”) can be used at any time during a 6 month period.
The “Ulti-Mutt Membership” auto renews monthly from date purchased until cancelled.
Packages/memberships cannot be used for more than one dog. We offer multiple dog packages at a discounted rate.
*Packages must be purchased prior to the start of a reservation in order to be applied to that day. If purchased at checkout, customer will also be charged for services booked for the day.
*Packages are for full day daycare only. If there are package credits on your account and you book a half day of daycare, normal half day charges will apply.
*There are no refunds for any unused package credits for any reason.
*Package credits expire 6 months from date purchased.
*Package credits/memberships are non transferable.
*To cancel the “Ulti-Mutt Membership”, notice must be given 10 days prior to the next billing date. If cancelled with less than 10 days notice, the customer’s account will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.
HOLIDAYS: Boops Co. is open for boarding on all major holidays. Holiday pricing is $10 more per night, per dog.
There is a 2 night minimum during the holidays. A 50% non refundable deposit is required for all holiday reservations. Deposits are non transferable.
Should a holiday reservation need to be cancelled, notice must be given 14 days prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If such notice is given, customer's account will be credited any amount paid prior to the reservation, less the 50% deposit. If the reservation is cancelled with less than 14 days notice, no credit will be issued. If a customer no-shows or cancels within 72 hours from the start of the reservation, the customer’s account will be charged the full amount for services booked.
Should a holiday boarding reservation need a modification (such as length of stay), notice must be given 14 days prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If such notice is not given, the amount for services originally booked must be paid in full at time of pick up.
Boops Co. is closed for daycare on the following holidays-
New Year’s Day
Fourth of July
*Although we are open for boarding on the above holidays, late drop offs/pick ups are not permitted on these days (8am-10am ONLY). No pick ups or drop offs will be permitted on Christmas day.
*A Holiday reservation is considered any reservation which has at least one night that falls within our holiday dates.
*For a full list of holidays requiring a 2 night minimum/50% deposit, please refer to the “Holidays” page on our website.
PAYMENTS: Daycare reservations can be paid for online at time of booking, or in person at time of pick up.
Deposit for boarding reservations must be paid online at time of booking.
*Deposits are non transferable.
*Any remaining balance due must be paid in full at time of pick up.
*Any outstanding balance on a customer’s account will result in an additional $10 fee each week that the balance remains unpaid.
*Account balances must be paid in full before a new reservation will be accepted.
*Overnight boarding pricing is based on the size of the kennel reserved at the time of booking (found in the "service" drop down menu). Kennel selection is subject to change at staff’s discretion based on size of dog/number of dogs booked in one suite. Cost of reservation will reflect such a change and customer will be promptly notified.
*All pricing is subject to NYS sales tax
GIFT CARD, CERTIFICATE & COUPON POLICY:
All gift cards, certificates, and promotional coupons must be presented in person at time of check out and hold no cash value. Limit one promotional coupon per customer.
CANCELLATION POLICY: We offer no refunds on any products, packages, services, daycare bookings, training, boarding stays or grooming. Per our policy, customer credit is issued to be used towards future reservations/services.
Daycare: Should a daycare reservation need to be cancelled, notice must be given 48-hours prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If such notice is given, customer's account will be credited the amount paid for that day (if pre paid). If the reservation is cancelled with less than 48-hours notice, a $20 cancellation fee per dog will apply and will be charged to the credit card on file. If a customer no-shows or cancels on the same day as the reservation, the customer’s credit card will be charged the full amount for services booked for that day. If a daycare reservation needs to be rescheduled, there will be no cancellation fee for the original reservation if the new reservation date is within 72 hours of the original, and is scheduled at the time of cancelling the original reservation. *This does not apply to same day cancellations.
Boarding: All boarding reservations require a non refundable deposit equal to one night's stay. Deposits are non transferable. Should a boarding reservation need to be cancelled, notice must be given 7 days prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If such notice is given, customer's account will be credited any amount paid prior to the reservation, less the deposit. If the reservation is cancelled with less than 7 days notice, no credit will be issued. If a customer no-shows or cancels on the same day as the reservation, the customer’s credit card will be charged the full amount for services booked.
Should a boarding reservation need a modification (such as shortening length of stay), notice must be given 7 days prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If such notice is not given, the amount for services originally booked must be paid in full at time of pick up.
Should a boarding reservation need an extension, please give as much notice as possible. Accommodations are made based on availability and are never guaranteed.
Grooming: Should a grooming reservation need to be cancelled, notice must be given 48-hours prior to the start of the business day which the reservation was made for. If the reservation is cancelled with less than 48-hours notice, 50% of services booked will be charged to the credit card on file. If a customer no-shows or cancels on the same day as the reservation, the customer’s credit card will be charged the full amount for services booked.
If a customer cancels twice within a 6 month period, all future grooming reservations must be paid for in full at time of booking. If a customer no-shows twice during any time period, they may be prohibited from making any future grooming reservations.
*All cancellation/no show fees must be paid for in full prior to creating a new reservation.
In the event that inclement weather forces Boops to close for daycare- customer will be contacted via email, phone, or text, the night prior to or the morning of their scheduled daycare reservation. If pre paid, customer will have the option to reschedule, or have account credited the amount paid for the day.
In the event that a customer cancels a daycare reservation due to inclement weather, and Boops remains open for the day- If pre paid, customer’s account will be credited the amount paid for the day if both are met; 1. Brockport schools have closed AND 2. Customer has notified Boops of said cancellation BEFORE the start time of scheduled daycare reservation. If both are not met, the regular cancellation policy will apply.
*All cancellations/modification requests must be submitted to email@example.com. No cancellation/modification requests will be taken over the phone or in person. If a cancellation/modification is submitted after business hours, it will be considered received the next day.
*No credit will be issued in cases where reservations are cancelled due to incomplete vaccination records. Because of this, we strongly encourage you to upload all required vaccine records prior to booking.
*Account credit must be used within 90 days from the date issued
*Account credit is non-transferrable
*Account credit may only be used towards daycare or boarding services.
For holiday cancellations, please refer to the “Holidays” section of our policy.
INJURY: Dogs will be dogs and sometimes, dogs play rough. In the rare event that an injury occurs while attending daycare or boarding with us, Boops Co. and/or their staff is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of injury.
EMERGENCY VET CARE: In the rare event that a medical emergency should arise, we will attempt to contact you immediately for pick up. If you are unable to be reached, we will attempt to reach your emergency contact. If we cannot reach you or your emergency contact, your dog will be transported by our staff to a nearby licensed emergency veterinarian, and a $75 transportation fee will be charged to the owner.
*If you are unable to be reached, an emergency vet visit will be at the discretion of Boops Co and/or their staff.
*Any and all costs incurred as a result of an emergency vet visit are at the owner’s expense.
ABANDONMENT OF ANIMAL: At the owner’s expense, charges will accrue for each additional day a dog is left in our care past the pick up day/time specified on the reservation, if no prior notice of a reservation modification is given.
Charges will include but are not limited to the following-
*$55 per dog each extra night they spend with us (6PM-7AM)
*$35 per dog each extra day they spend with us (any time spent between 7AM-6PM)
*$10 per meal per dog, 2x a day.
*Any applicable out of hours pick up fees per dog
*$100 per dog abandonment fee
*Owner will be notified via registered mail sent to the address on file asking for dog/s to be immediately removed from our care. If after 10 days of receipt of notification, the dog has not been claimed/removed from our care, they are deemed abandoned by NYS and will be placed in a shelter. You will be notified by mail of the name and address of the shelter in which your dog is placed.
*Proper authorities and all local animal shelters will be notified of said abandonment.
*Abandonment does not relieve owner/abandoner of expenses accrued for services rendered. The credit card used for booking will be charged for all outstanding balances and a receipt will be mailed to you.
*Please refer to section 331 & 332 of the NY Agriculture and Markets Law.
